APC In-Row or Close Coupled Architecture

A close coupled cooling architecture moves the cooling unit from a traditional perimeter placement to a location that is in the row or above the IT racks.  The InRow unit targets the heat that is generated by the IT equipment by pulling the hot air directly from the hot aisle where the heat is generated. The unit removes the heat and supplies cool air into the old aisle/environment, which is the source of cool air for the IT equipment.

Eaton Rack Containment Systems

Contain the heat and extract it directly back to the CRAC with our patented off-set Heat Containment System (HCS) or our straight Telescopic Chimney (TC). Use airflow manager for switches and network devices as well as blanking panels to ensure an effective rack hygiene methodology.

STULZ CyberAiR® - Floor Mounted Precision Air Conditioners

STULZ Perimeter Cooling consists of direct expansion (DX) systems and chilled water (CW) systems.  Both are available as down-flow and up-flow configurations.

Common Features:

  • Multiple upflow & downflow air patterns available, providing flexibility to meet requirements

  • Multiple floor stand configurations available (optional design to meet seismic requirements)

  • Water-side economizer with dual coil applications (DX/CW or CW/CW)
